Who We Are

Global Diaspora Connect (Private) Limited is a Zimbabwean diaspora-engagement and development-facilitation company connecting people, professional skills, businesses, educational institutions, investment, technology and opportunities across borders.

Our purpose is practical: to reduce the distance between people who have opportunities or needs and people who have skills, capital, technology, markets, institutional capacity or solutions.

Our Story

GDC was founded to create a reliable and structured bridge between the diaspora and real opportunities at home — recognising the immense potential of the diaspora and the need for a structured, transparent and impactful platform to channel that potential into meaningful development.

We create structured pathways for introductions, project development, investment facilitation, skills transfer, training, institutional partnerships and diaspora support services.

Our Mission

To organise and connect diaspora people, skills, capital, businesses, technology, institutions and markets with credible opportunities and practical needs in Zimbabwe and Africa, while enabling responsible international partnerships and measurable follow-through.

Our Vision

To become a trusted international gateway through which diaspora communities, institutions and partners can discover verified opportunities, contribute skills and resources, build partnerships and access practical services across borders.

Our Core Values

  • Trust and verification
  • Connection with purpose
  • Professionalism
  • Integrity and transparency
  • Inclusion
  • Partnership
  • Innovation

Our Zimbabwe Presence

Global Diaspora Connect established its operational Zimbabwe office on 1 August 2026 at 2 Travlos Road, Avonlea, Harare. The Harare office provides a physical point of coordination for local stakeholder engagement, project follow-up, member support and diaspora-facing services in Zimbabwe.

Our International Foundation

GDC’s early international development is anchored in Zimbabwe–Australia connections. Its Zimbabwean–Australian foundation and networks provide access to professionals, businesses, universities and wider institutional relationships in both environments. GDC is progressively building pathways to other diaspora markets, including the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, South Africa and other emerging markets.
